Construction

Allegheny’s Construction Division specializes in delivering highly reliable structural sites for all locations and environments. We take pride in ensuring longevity and building sites that are ready to meet the needs of the 21st Century.

Allegheny has carried out site and tower construction for a wide variety of sites – ranging from urban to remote, underground (tunnels) to mountaintop. Our reputation and performance abilities are second to none.

DAS – Telcom

We install a wide range of in-building solutions that make use of the latest cellular technologies, including Distributed Antenna Solutions (DAS).

Mobile network rollouts are quickly evolving to provide superior coverage inside buildings. 70-90% of all mobile calls are made inside buildings and structures. To provide coverage and capacity to indoor traffic hot-spots and priority installations, use of in-building methodology is the ideal solution. Our projects to date have included railway stations, hotels, airports, shopping centers, large corporate clients and government compounds.

Our DAS staff is iBwave certified, enhancing the capabilities of RF professionals already well versed in in-building wireless technology. From Active/Passive DAS, Small Cells, Public Safety to Wi-Fi, we are here to support you with ready solutions.

Electrical

Allegheny provides electrical construction and project management for general contractors, national accounts, facility managers, and building owners.

Our highly trained, licensed and organized teams blend experience with new technologies and practical aspects of long-term professionalism to yield optimized solutions. We track projects carefully from estimating, scheduling, planning, and installation to make sure we deliver on time and within budget, producing the highest possible results.

Warehousing & Logistics

Our main warehouse and storage facility is located adjacent to our corporate office in Mount Airy, Maryland. This centrally located facility provides dependable access to the interstate highway system linking the greater Washington DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas and the entire Northeast corridor.

The 16,000 square foot Mount Airy warehouse and storage yard is alarmed and fenced. All Allegheny offices, warehouses and storage areas have recording cameras throughout.

Our proficiently trained and qualified staff offer a full range of logistical services, including receiving, stocking, shipping, and inventory control.

Procurement

Allegheny’s procurement department works diligently with major suppliers of telecommunication material and equipment to ensure the best pricing on parts and volume discounting. Procurement also maintains stock levels in the warehouse to meet most emergency needs. We make arrangements with suppliers to receive and/or warehouse materials, parts and supplies to ensure all resources are available for project start dates.

Fabrication

Allegheny’s in-house fabrication shop has the ability to provide custom-built antenna mounts and more. Custom antenna mounts are frequently fabricated for specific in-build projects. We also fabricate specialty items to support our construction and electrical divisions.
